Jeff McMullen is CEO (honorary) of Ian Thorpe's Fountain for Youth, whose main work is in the Jawoyn communities of NT, funding Aboriginal health educators working in the schools, building up resources in the women's centres and improving the 93% illiteracy rate.

After a recent trip to the NT, Jeff will be reporting back on what is really happening in the NT Intervention. He will also discuss the new hopes, the constructive moves for improvements in education and employment especially.

Jeff McMullen is a writer, film-maker and journalist who spent almost two decades as an ABC foreign correspondent and Four Corners reporter, then another 16 years travelling the world for Sixty Minutes. In 2007 he hosted a TV show on the ABC called Difference of Opinion. His commitment to improving the health and education of Indigenous people here and in other countries spans his professional lifetime.
