Bilarong Cultural Festival. This years theme incorporates
embracing diversity, promoting harmony and ensuring sustainability.
Entertainment will include dance performances from many cultures,
a special kids program, entertainment, stalls, interactive workshops
and discussion forums. In preparation for this Festival and the Parade
of Light, Pittwater Council is hosting two free community workshops
for all ages on 11 and 21 March. All murals and lanterns created will

Bob Randall, Aboriginal Elder form Uluru. He explains how Indigenous
people have been dispossessed from Kanyini, the four central aspects
of life – belief system, spirituality, land and family. (This
is an Aboriginal Support Group event in association with the Mustaca

and land. Patrick Dodson, who co-produced the film, will be there
for the evening, together with the acclaimed British actor Pete Postlethwaite,
who tells the story of the film. They will be joined by Indigenous
songman Archie Roach, whose presence adds such depth of feeling to
the documentary. This will certainly be an extraordinary evening.

communities. Larissa is a Professor of Law and Director of Research
at the Jumbunna Indigenous House of Learning at the University of
Technology, Sydney. Larissa is a Judicial Member of the Administrative
Decisions Tribunal, Equal Opportunity Division and the Alternate Chair
of the Serious Offenders Review Board. She has published on property
law, indigenous rights, dispute resolution and Aboriginal women's
